⭐️NATIONAL OT MONTH ⭐️
Meet Alysa, a pediatric OT at our Rudolphtown location.
What’s the most rewarding part of being an OT?
- The most rewarding part is the engagement with each child—it provides the opportunity to witness growing independence while also gaining insight into their unique personality. Through play, you see how they imagine, create, and build on ideas, and it’s incredibly meaningful to experience the depth of their creativity.

How has OT changed your perspective on life?
- Learning about all the components involved in navigating everyday life has taught me not to take even the smallest tasks for granted. Working with children, in particular, has shown me that no matter what challenges someone faces, there are always positives to be found, moments of joy, and opportunities to succeed. Observing this from the outside has given me a deeper appreciation for resilience, creativity, and the many different ways people adapt and thrive.
