The twin on the right has a strong opinion about which shoulder his head belongs on. That's torticollis, often caused by a tight neck muscle. Earlier PT makes it easier to treat. What to look for: 👀 Head tilts to the same side most of the time 👀 Always looks one direction, and baby fusses or it's hard turning the other way 👀 Flat spot on one side or the back of the head 👀 Prefers one side for feeding 👀 Head is in the same position in every photo you take What to try today: ✅ Talk, play, and feed from the side they don't like to look toward ✅ Flip which end of the crib their head goes so the room is on that side ✅ Tummy time. Short sessions, many times. ✅ During tummy time, hold toys on the less-favored side If you're noticing any of this, you're not overreacting. Mention it at your next pediatrician visit and ask them to fax a PT referral to High Pointe Therapy at 931-920-4346. Or call us directly. Tennessee lets you see a PT without a referral, and we'll check your insurance first. Questions? Call 931-920-4333, DM us here, or email office@highpointetherapy.com.
