Speech Language Pathologist ~ Leah joined the High Pointe Therapy team in August 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology with a minor in Deaf Studies at Ithaca College in upstate NY. Leah went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Syracuse University. While in school, Leah enjoyed rowing on the crew team at the collegiate level, starting her college’s first American Sign Language club, and being involved in theater.
Leah grew up in snowy Erie, PA. She has always been drawn to the pediatric world, as her mother is a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist as well. Leah has a strong interest in pediatric feeding and oral motor deficits. In her free time, Leah enjoys going on adventures with her husband, AJ. Adventures for Leah usually consist of kayaking, camping, baking something new, or attempting to teach AJ sign language.
