Speech Language Pathologist ~ Ashley joined the High Ponte Therapy team in July 2024. Before pursuing a career in speech therapy, she received her bachelor’s degree in music therapy from Maryville University and maintains her credentials as a Board Certified Music Therapist. Ashley worked as a music therapist for two years while earning her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). Ashley is passionate about making communication accessible. In sessions, she uses a multi-modal and strengths-based approach to help support her learners on their communication journey. Ashley believes that therapy should be fun and rewarding! In clinical practice, she uses evidence-based approaches and her client’s interests to make therapy productive and engaging. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing/performing music, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family!
