Occupational Therapist ~ Kim rejoined the High Pointe Team in 2024 after having moved away from Clarksville in 2020. She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University with her Occupational Therapy degree in 1999. Kim met her husband, Aaron, in South Bend, Indiana during one of her clinical rotations in OT school. They married in 2007 right after he enlisted in the Army. Since then, they have welcomed two children and lived in Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee (twice!), and Louisiana.

As a pediatric OT with over 25 years of clinical experience, Kim still enjoys her career. She has worked in outpatient clinics, schools, a children’s hospital, and both state and federal early intervention programs. Educating and empowering families to best meet their children’s needs and promote independence through all the channels OT can help influence is her favorite part of the job. She’s also pretty great at discovering motivating and playful ways to engage her little friends so they don’t mind working hard and learning new things. She has extensive training in sensory processing and is excited to learn new ways to support her clients and their families. Kim is passionate about collaborating with other therapists to best support clients and mentoring students and therapists. 

Outside of work, Kim enjoys just being with her family; spending time with her husband, daughter, and son always hits the top of her to-do list. She is an avid reader, enjoys sewing, running with her dog, and visiting with friends.
