Speech Language Pathologist ~ Megan joined the High Pointe team in June of 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University in 2019 and continued her education at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, to complete her Master of the Arts degree in 2021. Megan currently works with both pediatric and adult populations at High Pointe. She has special interests in using music, movement, and improvisation tools and techniques to support social communication skills.
Megan is motivated by encouraging an individual’s unique skills and abilities to support growth and advancement in less-developed areas of speech, language, and cognition. She believes in a multi-modal approach to communication to encourage each type of learner toward achievement! Outside of work, Megan enjoys catching up with friends, spending time in her garden, and exploring new places, hobbies, and activities.
